New Features

  • Bank Suspense search now matches on **all** the words you type. Searching `hdfc neft` shows only the entries containing both words, in any order — no need to guess which one appears first in the narration
  • The full search vocabulary is available in one place: `a b` for all words, `a, b` for any of them, `name#` for an exact match, `name*` to match the start, and `ledger:name` to search one column. The **Search Tips** button on the suspense screen lists them
  • A confirmation before you close a screen that still has unsaved work, so a stray click no longer costs you the entries you just mapped
  • **What’s New**: after each update the app now shows a short summary of what changed, with a link to the full release notes. Past releases are always available from the What’s New link

Improvements

  • Bank Suspense keeps your place while you work: the summary card you selected stays selected when you type in the search box, instead of resetting your view mid-task
  • The Bank Suspense toolbar is simpler — the separate Debit/Credit toggle has gone, because the search box and the amount chips already cover it
  • The Bank Suspense search box now shows a short, readable prompt rather than a cramped list of syntax, with the full list one click away in Search Tips
  • Ledger creation, stock item creation and unit creation have been rebuilt with a cleaner layout and larger, easier-to-read controls
  • Columns across the export screens now size themselves to their content, so nothing is cut off on high-resolution or scaled displays
  • Export history and export logs have been restyled to match the rest of the application

Bug Fixes

  • Bank Suspense pending and cleared counts no longer disagree with the rows actually shown. An entry now counts as pending only while its ledger is still the suspense ledger, so the totals and the grid always tell the same story
  • Cancelling out of ledger creation no longer leaves the export in an unclear state
  • The Bank Suspense search box now clears reliably

  • The separate Debit/Credit filter has been removed from Bank Suspense. Type what you are looking for in the search box, or use the amount chips, instead
